Showroom Sales Associate

We are currently searching for a Part Time energetic person looking to gain experience and grow with our company. We are seeking a candidate with 2-5 years experience in the construction, remodeling, furniture sales industry, interior design or related field. 

This is a unique position as approximately 1/2 of the time will be spent using your creative energy to help guide our clients in their selections, and working with customers on our sales floor to explain the products we have to offer. The other 1/2 of your time will be spent answering phones and emails, getting  answers for a prompt response to our clients. You will also be responsible for entering and checking the status of purchase orders, and updating clients via phone and email. Scheduling deliveries and receiving of freight shipments, communicating with our warehouse associates, and following up with clients after delivery. Managing inventory and updating our e-commerce, tagging merchandise, and helping to maintain visual standards in our showroom. Supporting our installation teams and subcontractors with information about materials, shipments, and deliveries. Your ability to professionally communicate with your co-workers, vendors, contractors, tradespeople, and clients is very important.

A large portion of your job is administrative tasks, therefore if you don't like administrative work, please do not apply. This position requires someone who is not easily flustered, who is highly organized and an excellent problem solver. Multitasking and the ability to quickly switch between tasks is crucial. Ability to  maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems, perform data entry, scan documents then email them, and use Microsoft Office products such as Word is required. This job does require weekends hours, so you must be willing and able to work on Saturdays.
